Cisco Small Business SF300-24P

4.2
Verdict: Cisco's SRW range of small business managed switches has been around since its acquisition of Linksys, but they're now being replaced by the 300 Series. These have a new design and aim to offer a broader port choice with easier management, better value and support for static L3 routing.

I would recommend this switch for IP camera systems and IP phone ...

4.0
Verdict: This switch was used to power IP cameras for a Blue Iris network. Absolutely no problems with the switch until lightning hit the building and took out everything electronic in the facility. It was not a problem with the switch but with Mother Nature.

Pros

5.0
Pros: Easy to configure using GUI interface. Creating and managing VLans can be done easily, quickly
Cons: It would be nice if the console connection was USB instead of 9-pin serial. It requires an adapter. But, using GUI, the serial port isn't needed
Verdict: This is the second SF300-24 that I have installed to run a Ubiquiti Unifi wireless networks. The first one was installed about 3 years ago. I've not had any problems at all. Very reliable. It works great with a Mikrotik RB750GL router.

excellent results with low cost.

Verdict: Excellent switch for networks and applications that do not require much security, or that this is controlled by another computer or controller. Excellent for WiFi applications, and with a very attractive price

Great value in a powerful switch

5.0
Pros: Fast, Gigabit uplink ports, Reliable, Small
Cons: Max 8 port mirroring, Only 4 gigabit ports
Verdict: Great little switch and the PoE & QoS makes it perfect for IP Phone setups. I run several of these in different office setups that handle all the bandwith for PoE IP phones, Servers and desktops without a glitch. Best bang for the buck out there.
