Nokia Asha 302

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: Those looking for an entry level, or spare phone will find the Nokia Asha 302 a decent little phone. It has web and Wi-Fi capability, a decent camera and is a cheap way to get access to social networking on the go.
Pros: For an entry level phone the Nokia Asha 302 doesn't feel cheap at all. It is both solid and compact without sacrificing on build quality. Metal finishes on the edges and on the menu keys give the Nokia Asha 302 a nice premium feel. Entry level phones can feel cheap and tacky. Not this one.
Cons: Despite packing Twitter and Facebook apps for the Series 40 operating system, using these service is a bit on the slow side. The phone's menu buttons also makes navigating the options awkward. It's easy to make the wrong selections. The keypad, too could with a few tweaks.

Nokia Asha 302 review

★★★★ 3.5
Verdict: No, the Nokia Asha 302 isn't at the cutting edge of mobile tech. But it's a solidly built, reliable workhorse aimed at social networkers with a great little keyboard for a reasonable price, and certainly gives the Blackberry midrangers a run for their money.

Nokia Asha 302

★★★★★ 3.0
Verdict: The Nokia Asha 302 is a budget phone designed for messaging and social networking. Its key features are its QWERTY keyboard, facebook and whatsapp (instant messaging) apps, Wi-Fi and 3G HSPA connectivity. A fast processor and premium styling make it a great phone all round.

Nokia Asha 302

★★★★ 3.5
Verdict: The Nokia Asha 302 is a feature phone that could give a few smartphones a run for their money with its impressive features list. For starters there's both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity so you can browse and access social networks quickly.

Editor's Review of the Asha 302

★★★★★ 1.5
Verdict: Rounding out the phone's features are a grainy 3.2MP camera, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity. While it's easy to be too harsh on feature phones these days, the Asha 302 lacks anything to make it preferable over a low-end smartphone.

Nokia Asha 302 review

★★★★ 3.5
Verdict: With RIM currently in the doldrums, it's a good time for other manufacturers to try to get a look in when it comes to QWERTY keyboarded devices. After all, how hard can it be to come up with a handset design that incorporates a really well made and easy to use mini keyboard, manages to cram plenty...
Pros: Good battery life, Great keyboard, Good Wi-Fi implementation
Cons: Small screen, S40 needs some work, App store needs beefing up

First On TechTree: Review a€" Nokia Asha 302

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: The handset's 2.4" screen has pixel dimensions of 320x240. The display is bright and can reproduce decent colours. On the flip side though, there's no way to adjust the screen brightness. Moreover, similar to most entry-level phones, the Asha 302's display has a limited viewing angle.
Pros: Excellent build quality; Great keypad; Wi-Fi and 3G support; Good sound quality; Simple UI; USB OTG (support for external USB drives); Great value for money
Cons: Can't change display brightness; Fixed-focus camera

Nokia Asha 302 Review

★★★★★
Verdict: The latest in Nokia's Asha family is the 302, first announced in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2012 and scheduled for release later this year. Nokia aims to take all of the best features of its flagship Asha 303 and enhance them with a few extra toys for the 302.

Nokia Asha 302 in-depth review -

★★★★ 4.0
Verdict: Nokia may be getting all its press for Windows phones of late, but let's not forget its most devoted fanbase is still the basic phone crowd. The Asha 302 is the latest to launch on the Symbian Series 40 OS – aka the good ol' Nokia grid interface most of us are familiar with – but Nokia has...
Pros: Low-cost internet features, excellent battery, WhatsApp and push email access, sophisticated social app for a feature phone

Nokia Asha 302 in the house

★★★★★
Verdict: The Asha 302 is one of the most advanced phones in Nokia's Asha line-up. With a 1GHz processor, claims to Mail for Exchange functionality, Nokia's new data compressing web browser, and looks that sweep you off your feet, the Asha 302 sounds amazing for a phone that is pegged around N20,000 only.

Nokia Asha 302 review Review

★★★★★ 2.0
Verdict: The Nokia Asha 302 is cheap but it won't win over anyone who's already converted to the Android operating system. The lack of a touchscreen is a huge constraint, while its Series 40 software is far more fiddly and flaky than Google's OS.
Pros: Support for Microsoft email, MicroSD card slot
Cons: Dated, fiddly operating system, Tiny low-res screen, Awful camera, Far better Androids available at this price

E-serious

★★★★★
Verdict: The Nokia Asha 302 comes between the Asha 300 and the Asha 303 in Nokia's updated featurephone lineup, but it doesn't quite follow the numerical order. Although obviously not a smartphone, this S40 messenger is almost halfway there.

Does not support Mail for Exchange

★★★★ 1.0
Verdict: Please note this handset does not support the Mail for Exchange app provided by Nokia. The OS needs to be updated to v14.53 for this to work. Although released elsewhere in the world, Optus have not released the OS in Australia, nor have they provided a date for the release.

A perfect first phone or for those people who consider themselves not very good with technology.

★★★★★ 3.0

Acceptable ...barely

Cons: Slow, horrible interface, and screen is very low quality. battery cover is cheap and feels like it will break easily

Could be so much more...

★★★★ 1.0
Verdict: I've had this phone for a couple of months now having previously had the older version. The monthly plan is cheap but this essentially reflects what you can do with the phone. Text and calling are fine but e-mail and internet are poor, very poor. The camera is also of poor quality.
