GPS types
Uses satellites to find your position. A-GPS also uses the cellular network, and S-GPS allows the phone to receive both GPS and voice data simultaneously
Second generation network (2G) is the most common network type, and includes GSM and GPRS. 2.75G is often of EDGE/EGPRS type. Third generation (3G) includes UMTS (W-CDMA) and is fast (useful for mobile internet).
