1.0
Verdict: I have replacing my 500 GB drives with 2 TB drives because the price is good. Gives more storage. Good Price. I have had NO problems with Seagate Drives. I may move up to 4 TB, 6 TB, or 8TB drives. I like Seagate drives.

It's a Hard Drive

3.0
Verdict: I've run Seagate drives for few years now and have yet to have an issue. It's a hard drive and it hold data, not much more to say. I have this drive running alongside two Seagate hybrid drives and they all get along great :)

Great Product

4.0
Verdict: Quiet, Fast and a very good price. I'm currently getting very close to the advertised speeds of 190MB/s 180MB/s. Not quite the 210MB/s but that will probably be under very specific loads/circumstances. This still outpaces similar priced HDD's that struggle to get 140MB/s by 120MB/s.

Verdict: Currently using this as bulk storage for all my Steam games (plenty big enough so far), and it's definitely fast enough to play said games from.

*Not a 7.2 krpm drive*

4.0
Pros: bandwidth and size per unit cost is excellent. fine for RAID-1 since my OS is on SSD
Cons: both WD and Seagate have discontinued 7200rpm drives for the consumer level and lowered the warranty periods to 2 years. disappointing, but the cost/benefit ratio for the 5y warranty drive isn't really good if you replace the drive in case of failure within 5 years anyway; the expected lifetime of...
Verdict: Be aware that Seagate and WD both lowered their warranties to 2y and their spindle speeds to ~5400rpm for consumer level drives. You'll notice that the drive read speed has dropped to 190MB/s from ~210MB/s with the 7200.14 model range.
